Q) Are the products listed on the website in stock at all times?

A) The stock availability on the website does NOT reflect actual availability. Most parts such as exhaust/egr kits are made once ordered and may have a production lead time associated.

Q)  Does EOC inventory the "hard parts" for kits to ship to remote customers?

A) At this time EOC only holds a small amount of kits in their inventory to service their local geographical customer base.

All remote customer order kits are drop shipped from the manufacturers directly to the customer.  This means their may be some lead time associated with the production or even the delivery of the goods.  If you have concerns regarding a lead time, please email our sales team for a guesstimate prior to ordering  sales@ecodieselownerscanada.com

Q) When is the best time to install the tuning I've ordered?

A) We always recommend installing products during EOC Support business hours. This way our team is available to help should you require it. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Pacific Standard Time

Q) What does bench flash mean?

A) This means we flash the ecu on our bench. This entails shipping us the ecu or getting a pre tuned ecu from us.

Q) What are the stages of tuning?

A) Stage 1 is emissions intact, requires no physical modifications. Stage 2 is off road, requires at minimum an exhaust kit be installed.

Q) Does ECODIESEL or TDI ECU/TCM need to be stock before using an OBD PG3 or PG4 flash tool EOC supplies?

A)  YES!  It is cruical your ECODIESEL or TDI ECU/TCM is stock before using a Power Gate 3 or Power Gate 4 OBD tool.

Q) Does an off road kit come with exhaust and egr components?

A) Yes it does, as it is for off road use, these components are required.

Q) Do I flash my vehicle before or after installing the exhaust/egr components?

A) You always flash the vehicle before removing any stock components from it.

Q) Will a battery jump pack work when flashing my vehicle?

A) We do not recommend this, the charger needs to supply a solid and constant 14VOLTS and 10AMPs of power.  If your ecu loses communication during a write process it can put itself into recovery mode and the ecu will need to be bench flashed back to stock.
